A cosmic experience at the Belgrade Expo Gaming Grounds; children and adults journeyed through space beneath a digital sky.

A special event titled the “Stellar Journey” workshop was held at the EXPO 2027 Belgrade Gaming Grounds, where children and adults entered a planetarium dome—a digital sky theater—and experienced an interactive voyage among stars, planets, and galaxies beneath a “digital sky.”

During this event, participants were immersed in stunning visual projections that enabled them to identify constellations, learn the myths associated with them, and discover how stars are born and die.

Through play and imagination, children grasped fundamental astronomical concepts such as the Solar System, the Milky Way, planet Earth, and basic principles of astronomy. Meanwhile, adults rekindled their innate sense of wonder at the beauty of the cosmos.

This workshop forms part of the EXPO 2027 Gaming Grounds’ mission under the slogan “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All,” engaging audiences ahead of the official EXPO to blend science, education, and interaction with entertainment.

This experience underscores that when science, imagination, and technology converge, the boundary between play and knowledge dissolves—and the EXPO 2027 Gaming Grounds demonstrates how play and immersive experiences can inspire generations.
