Unveiling of the national logo symbolizing Iran's participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade, attended by the Consul of the Serbian Embassy in Tehran
The unveiling ceremony of the national logo symbolizing Iran's participation in Expo 2027 Belgrade was held yesterday evening at the northern side of Expo Square, the permanent venue of Tehran International Exhibitions. The event was attended by Dijan Pirišić, Consul of the Serbian Embassy in Iran; Sadaf Beikzadeh, Managing Director; and Mohammad Mehdi Tandgooyan and Fatemeh Zaraeen, Chairperson and Board Member respectively, alongside several deputies and managers of the Joint Stock Company of International Exhibitions of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
This logo, designed as part of the visual identity of Iran's pavilion at the global Expo 2027 Belgrade, draws inspiration from Iranian art and cultural concepts, incorporating distinctive geometric forms and colors to symbolize unity in diversity and Iran's interactive, collaborative approach on the international stage.
During the ceremony, emphasis was placed on the role of visual symbols in strengthening cultural diplomacy at events such as Expo. The presence of the Consul of the Serbian Embassy in Iran was also highlighted as a sign of expanding cultural exchanges and bilateral cooperation between Iran and Serbia, particularly along the path toward hosting Expo 2027 Belgrade.
Expo 2027 Belgrade will take place in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, from May 15 to August 14, 2027 (25 Ordibehesht to 24 Mordad, 1406 in the Iranian calendar), spanning three months. Over 130 countries and international organizations will participate under the theme “Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All.”
