Following a series of meetings by the Executive Committee of Expo 2027 Belgrade, a brainstorming session was held with the attendance of Mohammad Mehdi Tondguyan, Head of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company, along with several deputies and managers of the company, as well as a group of experts and specialists from various fields including architecture, music, philosophy, psychology, literature, games, sports, and other disciplines.
During the session, the diverse dimensions of the theme of Expo 2027 Belgrade, titled "Play for Humanity; Sports and Music for All," were thoroughly examined.
Emphasizing the importance of leveraging specialized insights for Iran’s effective participation in this global event, Mohammad Mehdi Tondguyan stated: "One of the shortcomings of previous Expo editions has been the absence of specialized think tanks. However, Expo themes are inherently broad and abstract, requiring interdisciplinary and integrative idea generation."
He added: "To design our model of participation, implementation, spatial design, and other components, we must establish dedicated think tanks composed of experts from various fields so that initial ideas can be properly articulated and strategically directed."
Tondguyan described this session as a pioneering step toward synergizing expertise, noting: "Even if we don't ultimately utilize all the ideas or individuals present, this very exchange of views can serve as a guiding light and a foundation for developing practical frameworks and operational theories."
