Focus on a Green Future: Belgrade Hosts World Environment Day Alongside Expo 2027

Serbia has officially assumed the hosting of World Environment Day 2027, an event set to take place in Belgrade concurrently with Expo 2027 Belgrade. This milestone transforms Belgrade into one of the most important international stages for dialogue on the environment, sustainable development, innovation, and responsible solutions to future challenges.

World Environment Day 2027 will be observed as a week-long event titled "Play for a Sustainable Future," focusing on the relationship between humanity and nature, climate challenges, sustainable solutions, and the role of innovation in environmental conservation.
                                                                          
Expo 2027 Belgrade will be held for three months, from May 15 to August 15, 2027, under the theme "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All," with the participation of over 137 countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran, in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia.
