The Commissioner General of Iran's Participation at the Belgrade Expo Visits the Progress of the Iran Pavilion Design Competition

Sadif Bikzadeh, Commissioner General of the Islamic Republic of Iran's Participation at Expo 2027 Belgrade, visited the review and judging process of submissions received by the secretariat of the "Architectural Competition: Visitor Scenario and Iran Pavilion Design." This competition was launched with the objective of selecting the most outstanding architectural and content design for Iran's presence at the global Expo 2027 Belgrade event.

Following the publication of a public call and invitations extended to architects, artists, and creative thinkers across the country, the competition secretariat has collected and compiled the submitted proposals. These entries are currently undergoing final review and evaluation by the jury board.

During his visit, Commissioner General Bikzadeh closely observed the workflow of the evaluation process, jury procedures, selection criteria for the winning design, and the final assessment stages. He also held discussions with members of the jury board regarding the competition's progress and standards.

According to the competition secretariat, the judging process is in its final stages. Upon completion of the final deliberations, the shortlisted and winning designs will be officially announced through a formal press statement in the near future.

About Expo 2027 Belgrade: Expo 2027 Belgrade, themed "Play for Humanity: Sport and Music for All," will take place in Serbia from May 15 to August 16, 2027 (25 Ordibehesht to 25 Mordad, 1406 SH), with the participation of over 127 countries and international organizations.
