The world’s largest technology exhibition, GITEX Global, has selected Belgrade as the host city for its first event in Southeast Europe, titled "GITEX AI Serbia," to be held in 2027 as part of the specialized Expo 2027.

By hosting "GITEX AI Belgrade" as a segment of Expo 2027, Serbia will become a key meeting point for leaders in artificial intelligence, digital transformation, and startup innovation, positioning Belgrade firmly on the global map as a destination where technology, vision, and the future converge.

The decision to choose Belgrade as the host for the first GITEX exhibition in Southeast Europe was made during the 45th edition of GITEX Global in Dubai.

Expo 2027 Belgrade will take place from May 15 to August 15, 2027, in Serbia’s capital, welcoming over 120 countries, including the Islamic Republic of Iran.
