The first meeting of the Executive Committee for Expo 2027 Belgrade – Serbia was held with the attendance of Sadeq Beikzadeh, CEO of the Islamic Republic of Iran International Exhibitions Company and Commissioner General of Iran at Expo Belgrade, as well as Mohammad Mehdi Tondguyan, Chairman of the Board of Directors and Head of the Executive Committee for Expo Belgrade, along with company deputies and senior managers.

Held concurrently with the official appointment of the Executive Committee members, the meeting reviewed the actions taken so far and the progress in construction and site preparation for the global Expo 2027 Belgrade event. It emphasized the necessity of comprehensive and timely planning in accordance with the host country’s guidelines and schedule.

Expo 2027 Belgrade, themed "Play for Humanity: Sports and Music for All," will be held in the city of Belgrade starting May 2027.
