9,000 Applicants on the Path to Volunteering at Expo 2027 Belgrade

 According to official announcements by the organizers of Expo 2027 Belgrade, more than 9,000 people have applied so far to participate in the "Expo Playmakers" program — the volunteer initiative for Belgrade's Specialized Expo — with 1,200 of them coming from 62 countries around the world.
 Interviews are being conducted both in-person and online at the Belgrade Expo Volunteer Center, and selected volunteers will have the opportunity to serve in 48 different roles, the most important of which include protocol, collaboration with international participants, marketing, and security.
 After successfully completing the interview stage, volunteers will participate in general and specialized training courses as well as simulations of real-life scenarios. During the Expo, they will be responsible for tasks such as welcoming guests, accompanying international delegations, guiding visitors, and supporting the executive team.
 Expo 2027 Belgrade will run for three months, from May 15 to August 15, 2027 (25 Ordibehesht to 24 Mordad 1406), under the theme "Play for Humanity; Sport and Music for All" in Belgrade, the capital of Serbia, with the participation of more than 140 countries.
